Responsible Gambling
Tools and habits that keep gambling fun and controlled — including limits, warning signs, and where to get help.
Start with limits
The most useful page in this section is Setting Limits & Self-Exclusion Tools. It covers deposit, loss and time limits, cool-off periods and self-exclusion, and how to choose numbers you will actually keep. Set them while you are calm, before a session, not in the middle of one.
Limits work best when they are written down and set in the account itself, so changing them takes effort. Most licensed sites offer them in account settings.
Guides in this section
- Setting limits & self-exclusion tools: the practical how-to.
- Responsible gambling overview: what responsible play means, warning signs to watch for and help resources.
- Tilt control: how frustration and chasing losses change your decisions, and session rules that help.
- Gambling psychology: the gambler’s fallacy, near misses and the illusion of control.
Warning signs worth taking seriously
Chasing losses, playing longer than you planned, borrowing to gamble or hiding it from people close to you are all signs to stop and step back. If any of them sound familiar, a break is a good idea, and talking to someone helps.
